The company culture is constructive and consultative. It is growing steadily and has a turnover in the vicinity of $500m pa. This role has been created to manage this growth and specifically start by working on a major project, and it is ideal that the person will grow with the company.
The key personnel in this dynamic company are veterans in the industry and well respected. Their clients are major contractors through to government authorities.
The Person: You may be a construction planning professional with experience in Major Civil Works, specifically Ground Improvement engineering within Mining, Production, Civil, Contracting, or a specialised contracting trade.
You will either be a seasoned construction professional with some 10 years experience within the contract engineering field or sector, or an engineering graduate with 2-4 years experience in the same.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a technical discipline of Engineering or Construction, but this is not essential if you have solid industrial experience as a construction planner and can use one of the latest planning software.
The role: This role encompasses the following:
Manage the overall projects timeline Scheduling Works Understanding and reporting on Critical Path Analysis Report to Senior Management Integrate the planning with other stakeholders including the client Understand suppliers and subcontractors' workflows Understand how engineering, design & technical issues impact projects Collaborate with the Works Manager to understand production You will have the assistance of a Project Manager as required to assist with commercial issues. You will receive technical guidance for the specific issues that encompass this role.
