Civil Maintenance Worker (Asphalt Team)

Join one of GForce's reputable clients as a Civil Maintenance Worker, where you'll help maintain and improve local road infrastructure with a focus on asphalt maintenance.
This hands-on role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:Perform asphalt maintenance tasks such as pothole patching and pavement repairs.Operate machinery including truck-mounted cranes, plate compactors, and small plant equipment.Provide traffic control and ensure safety for workers and the public.Report maintenance issues and ensure proper equipment care.Hours and Duration:Monday – Friday 7am until 4pm6 Week contract to start with potential for ongoing employment.Skills & Experience:Experience in asphalt or civil maintenance.Competency in operating machinery (e.g., vibrating roller, truck-mounted crane).Valid Victorian Driver's License (up to 13.9T) and traffic control skills.Level 2 First Aid, manual handling knowledge, and strong commitment to safety.Personal Attributes:Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work autonomously and follow schedules.Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 20kg.If you are interested in finding out more about this position please call Keiton on 0428 503 544 to discuss further or, alternatively, you can email your CV to ******.
