Job Description: Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Civil Leading Hand who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia .
Key Accountabilities: Manage the daily activities of a Civil Construction team for ETCS L2 project delivery and coordinate all construction site activities according to project requirements. Complete project documentation in a timely manner. Manage project materials, to ensure no delays to project works. High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as a great eye for detail. Collaborate with the HSE team to deliver site safety requirements. Provide regular progress reports on construction activities. Key Knowledge and Experience: 5+ years as a civil supervision or leading hand in a rail and/or civil construction environment. Construction White Card. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Current Class A Driver's License (MR License preferred but not essential). Experience in concrete and foundation works.
