Civil Leading Hand

Protech are recruiting for a Civil Leading Hand for a new project based in Rochedale commencing in October. As a Civil Leading Hand, you will be responsible for managing daily work, allocating tasks to appropriate labourer and operator teams, communicating progress or challenges with Supervisors and Foreman on site, and ensuring a safe work site is maintained throughout. ABOUT THE ROLE Long term work on new project based in Rochedale $46-$52 per hour depending on experience Penalties and travel allowance Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm, Saturdays as needed KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Directing and leading Labourers, Machine Operators, Subcontractors and Suppliers on site Monitor compliance with safety and environmental requirements Reading and following plans Communicating effectively with team on daily priorities Maintain daily record of site activities Operating machinery including Excavator, Positrack, and Roller TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 3 years of experience within Civil Construction Industry Minimum 1 year of experience as a Civil Leading Hand or equivalent leadership experience Cert III or IV in Civil Construction Valid drivers licence with reliable transport Construction White Card and RII's for Machine Operating HOW TO APPLY?
