North Projects is a specialist advisor and consultancy to property, construction, and development projects nationally. The opportunity Working within our Estimating team, you will lead or complete detailed estimates and apply first principles estimates on prominent infrastructure and water projects across Victoria depending on your level of experience. You will work on projects across the complete project lifecycle - from feasibility, options analysis, business case and hard dollar tender. Most importantly, you will thrive on the fast paced and fun environment, managing multiple priorities and working across an assortment of projects on any given day.
If you are further along in your career and have an interest in leading and developing others, you will become part of our leadership cohort within the Melbourne office, having a small team of emerging professionals report to you. You will be responsible for the day to day operational activities as well as developing career plans for your team.
About you To be successful in this role you will need to:
• Have experience in Australian civil infrastructure projects in an estimating capacity
• Have previous, demonstrated experience on estimating scope of work, deliverables, schedule, estimate structure, cash flows and reporting requirements
• Have proven first principle estimating experience for direct and indirect costs
• Have exposure to design and construction projects (not necessary but will hold your application in high regard)
• Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
• Manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
