About the Role
We are currently seeking a Civil Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions for civil construction projects.
Roles and Responsibilities Managing and completing tenders ensuring they are developed to a high standard. Review and analyse the tender scope, drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. Interpreting tender requirements and developing successful strategies. Working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to obtain the information required to compile the tender. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare pricing for materials, labour, and equipment. Manage customer relationships, including developing and maintaining contact networks. Contributing to the selection and finding of suitable tenders is crucial. Monitor and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. What you'll need to succeed Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field are highly regarded. Experience in estimating civil construction projects. In-depth knowledge of the civil construction process and common challenges. Construction White Card and Current driver's license. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
