With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking a Civil Estimator to join our Civil & Infrastructure team to work on our various projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator, your primary responsibility will be preparing and delivering estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects. You will also ensure the timely completion of the work using reliable data from various consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
Work Type: Full Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:Your role will include but not limited to:
Reviewing RFX documentation and assisting in the planning of tender estimation preparationAssisting in developing pricing components and identifying associated subcontractors and suppliersProviding assistance in preparing take-offs of materials and preparing RFQ for suppliers and sub-contractorsSupporting in producing tender documentationIdentifying alternative construction approaches in collaboration with the bidding teamMaintaining a centralised cost-estimating databaseProviding recommendations to cost estimating proceduresParticipating in internal governance reviews and providing advice on risks and opportunities associated with the tenderReviewing work done by the estimation teamQualifications and Requirements:To be successful in this role you will have:
