Civil Estimator

Due to our continued growth, diversity and drive for continuous improvement, we are currently seeking highly experienced Civil Estimator to join our team based in our Head Office at Beresfield in the Newcastle Region. The successful incumbent will be required to assist in the preparation of non-price tender documents and construction methodologies. The successful candidate may be an experienced Civil Estimator or a Project Manager with strong tender experience who is looking for a change of career direction and long-term stability.
To be considered for this role you will: Have significant experience in Civil Estimating and/or Project ManagementIdeally have experience in a site based construction roleHave some 'hard dollar' estimating experience/exposureExtensive experience in pricing from first principles a wide range of projects including Roadworks, Stormwater, Utilities, Structures, Subdivisions, Rail and EarthworksExperience in the preparation of non-price tender docsHave excellent communication skillsHave excellent attention to detail and accuracyHave excellent time management skills, in particular the ability to manage varying tasks and deadlines and organise your workload in a busy and diverse environmentHave extensive experience in using project planning software Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6Have a high level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft OfficeIdeally have experience in Pronamics Expert EstimationIn return for your skills and experience, you will be offered the opportunity to work with an employer that values your contribution to the organisation and is dedicated to your career success.
