This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday at the Nowra Administration Building.
This role is responsible for undertaking the investigation, design, technical specification, quantity and cost estimation for a range of infrastructure projects as well as engaging and managing consultants to deliver design solutions. Duties Reporting directly to the Coordinator Engineering Design, the focus of this position is to:
Undertake traffic investigations and technical assessments to provide reports and recommendations.Engage and manage Consultants as needed to deliver all the required aspects of assigned projects.Make complex design and project management decisions, balancing competing priorities in liaison with project stakeholders, to achieve project goals of scope, time and budget.Adapt to evolving circumstances and urgent work requests by managing internal Client expectations and developing project plans to deliver work in a timely manner.Skills & Experience To be successful in the position, you will have: 4 year Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant Degree; or equivalent relevant industry experience.Minimum 2 years' experience in the delivery of civil infrastructure.Eligibility for membership of Institute of Engineers.Class C Driver's Licence.Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.We are looking for someone with high level technical and critical thinking skills who can work collaboratively and balance competing workloads.
