Qualifications: Education:Qualification assessed at AQF Diploma level with an additional qualification at AQF Certificate IV in a highly relevant field (e.g., Civil Engineering or Engineering Drafting – Civil Design) ORQualification assessed at AQF Diploma without a highly relevant field and at least two years of post-qualification relevant experience.Experience: A minimum of one to two years of post-qualification employment at an appropriate skill level in the last five years.Skills: Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.Salary: AUD 75,000 to AUD 85,000 per annum (based on experience and qualifications).
Detailed Job Responsibilities Planning and Design Support: Prepare sketches, charts, tabulations, plans, and designs for civil engineering works, including drainage systems, water supply, roads, bridges, and other structures.Interpret work assignment instructions and select appropriate procedures and equipment for successful execution.Testing and Analysis: Conduct fieldwork and laboratory tests for construction materials and soils.Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support engineering projects.Carry out computations and prepare reports for project assessments.Cost Estimation and Compliance: Estimate material costs and ensure completed works meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.Study and interpret legislation, contracts, and standards to maintain compliance.Construction and Maintenance Support: Inspect civil engineering works, organise, and supervise maintenance and repair tasks.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating civil engineering projects from inception to completion.Work collaboratively with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.Innovation and Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative solutions to engineering challenges.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.About CompanyAbout Neev Homes Pty Ltd:
