MAC is a young professional volume building company based in Melbourne (Docklands). We consist of a team of experts, from in-house designers, drafters and estimators to project and construction managers. With the rapid growth of our business, a full-time qualified civil drafter is sought to join our dynamic team.
About You
We are now seeking an experienced full-time civil engineering drafter to join us.
Your Job Description

Preparing conceptual and formal design drawings in accordance with the industry requirements and standards.
Preparing design documentation for subdivision roads, drainage, sewer and water reticulation as well as associated infrastructure.
Ensuring documentation considers associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping.
Providing drafting support to the project manager.
Directly liaise with project manager while providing direct and efficient support.
Responsible to maintain the detailed documentation for the civil design.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate the maintenance of work if necessary.
Compute and analyse data for civil design.
Collect information from soil analysis, traffic surveys and other specific analysis reports.
Estimate project costs and ensure the civil design stays within budget.

Experience & Skills
High competency with AutoCAD and all Microsoft Office suites.Previous experience in a similar role within the construction environment.
