Northbuild Construction is a commercial building contractor operating for over 30 years, with operations in Queensland and Papua New Guinea.
We are seeking a Civil Engineer Technician to join our Team based in Toowoomba.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for supporting project delivery. This will include:
Follows assignment instructions accurately, selecting the appropriate procedures and equipment for each task.
Gathers and organizes technical information, including preparing sketches, diagrams, and data sheets.
Perform on-site surveying and layout tasks to support project accuracy and efficiency.
Participates in reviewing project drawings, contributing to construction scheduling and progress planning.
Conducts tests on construction materials to ensure quality, prepares diagrams and data sheets, and assists in estimating costs.
Monitors construction quality and safety standards, helping to organize maintenance and repair work as needed.
Observes and assists in tracking subcontractor progress to ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
Aids in the development and oversight of master plans and management plans for various project sub-divisions.
Supports the daily management and coordination of labor teams on construction sites.
This role will require on-site presence including travel through Regional Queensland for remote and regional projects.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
Diploma or above in Building/Construction/Engineering Technology.
3+ years working in a similar role.
Requires driving.
Salary for the position: $85,000 plus super, negotiable
