Job Description
What will a day in this role look like:
Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of rail infrastructure projects, including track design, earthworks, drainage, and civil structures.Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions that meet project requirements and client specifications.Conduct technical analysis and design calculations, ensuring compliance with Australian rail standards and safety regulations.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.Support project management activities such as cost estimation, risk management, and scheduling.Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.Contribute to client presentations and business development initiatives.Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.5 plus years of experience as a Civil Engineer - Rail.Proven experience in rail infrastructure projects is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of railway design principles, including track alignment, grading, and civil works.Familiarity with relevant Australian rail standards and engineering codes.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Chartered status or working towards it with Engineers Australia is advantageous.Additional Information
