Job DescriptionThe Civil Engineer, PE, will lead the Civil Design group at Trueline Infrastructure Solutions. This role involves individual contributions in design, modeling, and oversight, as well as supervising Quality Control Technicians performing on-site testing and inspections.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance and leadership to the Civil Design group, ensuring effective collaboration and innovation.Collaborate with the Construction Department to review Civil Designs and assist in preparing and submitting bids for municipal and private water, sewer, and wastewater projects.For awarded projects, create and refine CAD designs in Trimble software for use by the Construction Department.Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Construction Department, addressing technical issues, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and serving as the liaison between the Construction Department and the Design Firm.Supervise 2–6 Quality Control Technicians, ensuring accuracy in testing and inspection data before submitting documentation to customers.Conduct field visits for review, investigation, or resolution to complaints.Perform and assist with modeling, analysis, and the preparation and completion of highly technical studies for presentations, project scoping, design, permitting, maintenance, and/or operation.Assist in the review, filling out, and preparation of grant documents.Perform other related job duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or related engineering or Business Administration; FL PE or equivalent license with ability to obtain Florida PE within 6 months; 4 years related experience.At least 5 years of experience in water and sewer engineering.Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, operational standards, asset management, financial management, GIS, and SCADA systems.Experience reviewing PE-stamped plans.Knowledge of proctor testing, compaction testing, asphalt density testing, and visual site inspections.Experience with Trimble software modeling.Supervisory experience.Municipal government and private development design experience.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Strong technical and analytical skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and ensuring project success.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.May experience long hours of standing and moving.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Applicants must submit to a Driver's License review, drug test & criminal background check.
