This role can be based in any of our offices around Queensland. We're conveniently located in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, and Rockhampton.
The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse variety of projects requiring the following responsibilities: Implement and maintain consistent design and drafting standards in accordance with HIG standard policies and client guidelines.Engineering design of roads, highways, urban developments, stormwater drainage, water, and sewer reticulation networks.Ensure all works are performed as per the project specifications, guidelines, and procedures.Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and mature judgement in anticipating and solving design and drafting problems.Comply with quality management systems and demonstrate ability to prevent inconsistencies.Provide a high level of technical drawing representation input into a variety of civil-related projects.Prepare specifications and other tender documentation and produce clear and concisely written reports.Working for HIG Some benefits of working with us include: Flexible working arrangements.Paid overtime.Career development opportunities through mentoring and personalised training.Innovative and supportive environment.Bi-annual team building symposium.Regular internal team training.About you Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is mandatory.Demonstrated skills and experience in 12D/Civil 3D and AutoCAD as well as sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.The ability to work within a team environment.Sound interpretive, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Commitment to ongoing career development.Class C Drivers License.Knowledge of Department of Transport and Main Roads (QLD) and Australian design standards is an advantage.Technical and practical civil design and drafting skills, specifically within the areas of small to large infrastructure design, drainage, and road work design.For more information on Harrison Infrastructure Group, please visit our website at hig.com.au/careers or email [emailprotected].
