Due to a recently awarded ECI contract for a high-profile Rare Earth project in Alice Springs, we are seeking an experienced and driven Civil Engineer to join our project team initially based in Victoria Park. This role will see you play an integral part in the initial setup of the project including reviewing the scope of works and executing all civil activities on site during construction. You will be responsible for providing Engineering solutions to Project staff and executing the delivery of the Project within budget and timeframes.
In this role, you will draw on your previous experience to:
Plan, manage and track civil activities and processes Foster relationships with internal and external customers to ensure contractual requirements are met Assist with project progress claims Sub-contractor/Supplier management Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company's Quality Assurance, Environmental Management and Safety Management System and other relevant standards and legislative requirements Assist with the preparation of regular financial and progress reports Manage project commercials, budgets/construction metrics, forecasting and change management Ensure project objectives are being met with regards to schedule, cost and technical performance What you will bring: Previous experience working in a civil engineering position, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestones A customer-centric mindset and strong value of safety Clear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change management Experience working on large scale projects An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively prepare correspondence, reports and instructions Sound knowledge working to AS/NZ ISO: 9001 Quality Standards Ability to undertake a 2:1 FIFO site-based roster.
