Our Energy and Chemical team have been directly supporting refinery operations such as Alcoa, bp, CSBP and other industry sector clients along the Kwinana strip as well as throughout Western Australia for many decades. Our team is now embarking on a major project delivering the new bp refinery at Kwinana which will process waste oil into low carbon fuels of the future.

What you'll do We're looking for a Civil Engineer Level II to join our Perth team.
The role responsibilities include:
Reporting to the lead civil engineer, you will be completing civil design of open and closed drainage structures, retaining walls, laydown and hardstands, underground drainage network and general civil design around processing plant. Prepare calculation packages in support of the design. Advise lead engineer when project scope is not clear and that assist with changes to comply with project change management processes. Where opportunities arise, support the lead structural engineer on Scope management. Cross disciplinary coordination to ensure successful delivery of Customer's requirement. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its bp's project requirements. Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. What you'll have Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant undergraduate degree. Relevant years of experience in structural engineering design in the mining, energy and/or infrastructure sector. Previous experience in either heavy industrial or petrochemical plant projects is not essential but advantageous. Experience in using of civil engineering specific software such as Drains, StormCAD or similar and also familiar with software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD would be beneficial. Exposure to MWRA design standards is desirable. Agile with working in multiple platforms and environment including the use of 365 suite and various other collaboration tools. Ability to design drainage network. Keen attitude to learn new design tools as well modes project delivery. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service. Why you should apply Enjoy a varied & challenging role.
