Civil Engineer – Infrastructure & Transport - Relocate To Cairns

AECOM has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to join our team in Cairns, supporting a vast array of planning, design and construction projects predominately related to general civil (Earthworks, Utilities and Road Design) and water/wastewater infrastructure. This role will give you the opportunity to deliver technical excellence in the areas of design, as well as develop your project management skills.

Job Description
What will a day in this role look like:

Experience in delivering Civil design projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.
Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work of a diverse range of projects.
Communicate and liaise with clients and authorities while delivering project drawings and reports.
Develop and nurture relationships within AECOM and the local industry.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards).
4+ years' experience with project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as 12D or Civil 3D.
Passion for delivering high-quality, technical work.
Experience working in an Engineering consultancy will be an advantage.
