With a presence in 30 global markets, Fluence provides an ecosystem of offerings to drive the clean energy transition, including modular, scalable storage products, comprehensive service offerings, and the Fluence IQ platform, which delivers AI-enabled digital applications for managing and optimizing storage and renewables.KEY TASKSPerform and review construction/civil design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.Perform field activities such as observing and recording existing field conditions, taking and verifying measurements within the project area.Responsible for quality control of all deliverables within the scope of civil engineering.Technical review and signing off on technical documentation provided by vendors and other stakeholders related to civil engineering deliverables.Review and coordinate with BOP (Balance of Plant) contractors to deliver civil designs in line with the scope of work and applicable standards.Providing site support on technical queries.Travel throughout Australia as required.SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSBachelor's / Master's degree in civil engineering.Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with civil design of power systems for utility installations, PV plants, Battery Storage Systems in the APAC region.Expertise in civil design including, but not limited to, foundation, drainage, equipment anchoring, etc.Experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for high voltage systems, wind, solar, BESS or conventional power generation systems.Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the Australian market.Solution-orientated mindset.Good communication skills.BENEFITSAccess to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for personal and professional support.Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work options.Generous Paid Parental Leave.Home office allowance.Mobile phone allowance.Opportunities for performance-based bonus schemes.A collaborative and innovative work environment designed to help you thrive.Fluence IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERAt Fluence, we value diverse perspectives and experiences that bring fresh ideas and creativity to our team.
