Tequa Plumbing & Civil is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sale, VIC. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design, planning, and delivery of a wide range of sewer and water infrastructure projects, contributing to the growth and development of our local community. This full-time position offers opportunities for professional development and a competitive remuneration package.What you'll be doingImplementation of quality assurance processesAssist with preparing and submitting tender documents.Manage the projects timeline, budget, and specifications to meet expectations.Report to the Senior Project Team on progress of projects.Prepare project specific methodologies, manuals & safety documentation.Assist with the effective delivery of independent test procedures.Develop work programs, processes, and procedures.Collate and manage all project documentation.Work effectively within a team environment and contribute to team outcomes.Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments to gather data and identify project requirements.Scoping and overseeing the construction of sewer, water, drainage systems and other civil infrastructure.Preparing detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.Monitoring project progress, quality, and safety to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Provide technical support and advice to the broader engineering team.What we're looking forCivil Engineering qualification or Project Management (preferred but not essential).Knowledge and experience in sewer and water civil infrastructure projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Accountability to set goals and drive achievement.Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, in particular Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.A high level of planning and organisational skills, coupled with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.A positive and proactive 'can do' attitude.A learning mindset.The ability to get involved, whilst also contributing to a dynamic team environment.What we offerAt Tequa, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and stimulating work environment.
