Stantec Community Development team are seeking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer in Rockhampton. In this permanent full time role you will manage the civil design and documentation on a variety of urban, land and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary team.
Day to day tasks would involve: Design, coordination and project management of urban, land and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to constructionPrepare technical reports and specificationsProvide technical expertise to clients and support projectsManage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgetsCoordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projectsUndertake and manage site inspectionsContribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and constructionMaintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clientsAssist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship managementWhat you will bring to the team Bachelor of Civil EngineeringDemonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land and subdivisionsExperience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and constructionWell-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing.What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
