ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. You will be joining a professional and collaborative team that comprises engineers, designers, and drafters. You will be working across land development, infrastructure, and built form projects undertaking road design, external levels, pavements, stormwater design (including water quality and OSD), and sewer & water design.
You will be part of a growing office where senior staff are committed to helping you grow with our company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execution of engineering design projects in accordance with the project brief and fee. Plan design packaging and design interfaces. Liaise with drafters to enable preparation of documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies. Design of civil infrastructure primarily focused on roads, with a mix of stormwater, water, and sewer reticulation. Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues. Preparation of engineering reports. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A passion for Civil engineering. Tertiary bachelor's qualification in civil engineering that is recognised by Engineers Australia. 5+ years' local civil engineering experience, with a preference for road design projects. Have a working knowledge of engineering software, such as 12d, AutoCAD, MUSIC, and DRAINS. Excellent time management, ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst working autonomously. Strong interpersonal and written communication. Initiative and a strong work ethic. A strong team-focused mentality to work collaboratively across multiple offices. WHY INDESCO?
