Vital specialises in Civil and Hydraulic consultancy services with a strong focus on high quality design and accurate documentation in line with our clients' expectations.
Vital has a significant existing client base and an ever-growing workload in the ACT and interstate.
The Role We are looking for a motivated person that is going to enhance our team with their experience in AutoCAD as well as an understanding of Civil Engineering principles.
As a Civil Engineer at Vital Design Solutions, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ability to complete projects under the guidance of senior staff from inception to completion. Consult with clients, other industry professionals, and authorities. Attend site visits as required and report accordingly. Lead a team of Draftspersons and Designers. You will be required to design elements within the Civil discipline.
These include, but are not limited to:
Pavement design and spatial planning Pedestrian and cycle path design Capacity analysis Easement design Waste management calculations, planning and assessment Collection vehicle assessment and selection Vehicle modelling Waste water management Environmental management Traffic guidance schemes Traffic control assessments Site Grading Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Civil Engineer in the ACT. A strong knowledge of Australian Standards, ACT regulations and associated procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in 2D AutoCAD. Ability to complete projects to a high standard. Personal Attributes: An enthusiastic individual looking to enhance their knowledge. Be able to work in a team environment to achieve a common goal. Demonstrate a positive approach to complex situations. Show leadership and patience when mentoring. Ability to seek knowledge independently when necessary. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail. Salary To be negotiated depending on experience.
