We are regularly tendering for works in Brisbane &/or Greater QLD  and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Engineers / Contract Administrator Representatives CA02 (B13) interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for a period of 1 - 2 years for the contract administration of construction works on Road Upgrade Programs with the possibility of ongoing extensions and/or other projects.The Civil Engineer /   CA Representative will be responsible for managing major transport infrastructure construction contracts as assigned and ensuring the contracts are completed to specified quality standards and within budget and time.Responsibilities: • Perform the role of Administrator's Representative or Principal's Representative Agent in the administration and surveillance of contracts, in accordance with Standards, Contract Procedures and General Conditions of Contract; • Contribute to all phases of the contract administration in terms of quality, safety and environmental issues and contribute to the development and documentation of quality management procedures to facilitate the effective delivery of projects to a high standard; • Liaise with project, technical and operational staff to coordinate external service authorities, community industry groups, other Agencies and Local Government authorities affected by the works; • Manage and co-ordinate all phases of the contract administration of road and transport infrastructure projects in terms of quality, safety and environmental issues and contribute to the development and documentation of quality management procedures to facilitate the effective delivery of projects to a high standard; • Manage a team of engineers, technical staff and external advisors in the delivery of infrastructure projects, monitoring and reviewing all technical aspects of the project and ensuring that appropriate standards are adopted for project objectives; • Provide reports and briefing notes on a variety of issues including the status of works, expenditure against program/project, conditions of the state road network and major incidents; and • The Administrator Representative may be required to act as Project Manager    Mandatory Experience • Demonstrated extensive experience in all contract administration aspects of road and transport infrastructure construction including earthworks, drainage, electrical, ITS, landscape and urban design, asphalt and granular pavements, pavement surfacings, road furniture, bridges, and retaining walls; • Demonstrated sound consultation, conflict avoidance, and group facilitation skills; and • Demonstrated expertise in managing and supervising projects to TMR policies, standards and specifications.Desirable Experience • Demonstrated experience in the administration of AS2124-style of contracts such as Transport Infrastructure Contracts -Construct Only (TIC-CO), Road Construction Contracts (RCC); AS4300 style Design and Construct (D&C) Contracts, relational contracts, or Collaborative Project Agreements (CPA) or Alliance    Mandatory Qualifications.• Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification, which is accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust); and • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).In addition to the prequalification requirements for Consultant / Associate Engineer CA02 B13, the Engineer must have a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in road infrastructure projects (road and bridge construction), and be the current holder of a Class C driver's licence.The role will lean more to office based in Brisbane &/or greater QLD, however allow for up to 50% site office attendance.It is envisaged that the hours will be nominally 40 hrs p/week, however more hours a likely pending project requirements.Civil Services Group is a specialist Civil Project Management and Delivery Company based in Queensland with a strong track record in delivering major projects.We are committed to mentoring and developing staff and providing high standards of HSE and EEO obligations.We are continually tendering for new projects throughout QLD and NSW and welcome expressions of interest from all people with Civil Construction Industry backgrounds and experience.We are accepting applications from candidates only, no agencies please.Note: you only have to apply for 1 CSG role to be considered for them all.
