As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Draftsperson to join our team and support the delivery of civil engineering projects.Role Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Draftsperson to assist in the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and urban development.
In this role, you will work closely with engineers and designers to create accurate and high-quality design documentation using the latest drafting software.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for drafting and civil design to contribute to impactful projects in the Hunter Region.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation for civil infrastructure projects, including roadworks, stormwater systems, and land development.Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software to produce accurate design plans, sections, and details.Assist in the preparation of design reports, specifications, and other project documentation.Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.Maintain quality control over all drafting work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Revise and update drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback from senior team members, clients, and stakeholders.Provide support to the design team in managing project timelines and deliverables.Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new drafting technologies.About You:Certificate IV in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Draftsperson in civil engineering design, with a strong understanding of civil design principles.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting/design software.Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.Experience in civil infrastructure design (roads, drainage, etc.)
