The Role We are searching for an enthusiastic Civil Designer to join our growing Sydney based Civil NSW Projects team.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to: Supporting Project teams on a variety of Civil design, Local Government and Urban Development projects.
Preparation and drafting of drawings, models, and designs in 2D and 3D format to support the project team.
Continual improvement of civil services design by keeping abreast of latest technology and practices in CAD and modelling by partaking in continuous training and career development.
Undertake site investigations to assist with understanding the project being delivered.
Maintaining accurate electronic reporting such as transmittals, filing of models and ensuring designs are methodical and documented to an industry standard.
The Candidate Applications are sought from candidates with the following attributes: Experience using civil design packages, 12D preferred Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven civil 3d modelling and designing experience within civil Engineering Consultancies Experience within the Built environment The ability to co-ordinate with others The ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, whilst working autonomously Establish a work pattern and develop rhythm and coordination in repetitive work Creative problem-solving skills to continually finds ways to overcome challenges and obstacles Strong team ethic to work collaboratively across functional group Use quality management abilities to maintain and develop 3D modelling standards and procedures Diploma of Civil Construction Design preferred.
