Civil Designer - (240001Y1)
Description
We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in a full-time permanent position in our Cairns office.
Reporting to the Group Leader, the Civil Designer will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land and urban subdivision projects in this region.
The role will suit an experienced 12D Designer who has worked on civil projects for Councils, Transport Main Roads, or private development.
The role
Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems, as well as associated infrastructure) Interpreting civil design requirements for State Government, Local Government Authorities, and private sector clients Interfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping Interacting with clients regarding project needs, ensuring that expert and quality service is delivered Collaborating with diverse teams nationally
About you
Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environment Relevant qualifications Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development

Qualifications
Ideally, a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
