ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join our team. You will be joining a professional and collaborative team that comprises engineers, designers, and drafters. You will be working across roads and infrastructure projects with a mix of land development and built form projects undertaking road design, external levels, pavements, stormwater design (including water quality and OSD), and sewer & water design.
You will be part of a growing office where senior staff are committed to helping you grow with our company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for geometric design as appropriate to the needs of the project within one's capabilities;Plan design packaging and design interfaces;Produce designs and design documentation;Liaise with drafters to enable preparation of documentation;Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies;Design of civil infrastructure primarily focused on roads, with a mix of stormwater, water, and sewer reticulation;Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A passion for Civil design;Tertiary bachelor's qualification in civil engineering that is recognised by Engineers Australia;5+ years' local civil design experience, with a preference for road design projects;Have a working knowledge of engineering software, such as 12d and AutoCAD;Excellent time management, ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst working autonomously;Strong interpersonal and written communication skills;Initiative and a strong work ethic;A strong team-focused mentality to work collaboratively across multiple offices.WHY INDESCO?
