Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.Job DescriptionWe are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in Brisbane, this is a newly created role available due to strong organic growth. You will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Senior Designers on the design and delivery of Urban Development projects. In particular you will work on land developments (residential and commercial), infrastructure and municipal projects including roads, drainage, sewer, water, earthworks erosion and sediment control.Specifically:Review sketches, drawings and engineering data received from external consultants, clients and internal stakeholdersCreate detailed engineering designs and construction drawings compliant with industry standards and codesAnalyse and prepare reports, drawings, planning and design documents for urban development projectsLiaise with stakeholders on a regular basis to manage project variationsQualificationsHigh level technical knowledge of industry codes and standardsAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholdersHigh level industry awareness and engagementRelevant tertiary qualifications, use of 12d, ACAD, 12d drainage, PC DrainExperience in preparation of concept and detailed designs for land development projectsAdditional InformationAt Colliers, we are enterprising.
