In response to our company's success and continued growth we are seeking to appoint a civil designer in our Brisbane based office.
We are seeking a motivated civil designer to join a small team and help us grow something big.
You will work alongside our engineers to provide a range of solutions for our clients to achieve their goals.
While doing this your personal career goals can be met by gaining valuable experience on wide ranging projects from studies to construction and closure.
Role requirements:Minimum of 3 years civil design and drafting experience.Well-developed design skills using AutoCad, 12D and/or Civil 3D software.Ability to learn construction staging and geological modelling software.Experience working on large scale mining projects.Good understanding of civil and water projects.Possess teamwork skills coordinating with internal teams, clients and external consultants.Knowledge of design efficiency techniques and standardisation development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to effectively work autonomously as well as in a project team.Projects include:Greenfield mine development.Brownfield tailings dam raising and associated infrastructure.Mine closure land formation and drainage.Levee and surface water management.Site investigations.What we offer in addition to an exciting technical role:2.5% Additional superannuation.Income Protection Insurance.Training and professional development opportunities.Employee Assistance Program.Flexible work from home options.Additional incentives may be available dependent on performance of the company, business unit and individual.About Us:KCB is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing engineering, geoscience and environmental services globally to the mining, hydropower, environmental, transportation, geotechnical, oil & gas, and water resources sectors.
