We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our Brisbane team. Responsibilities Undertake design and drafting of civil engineering projects, including roads and drainage systems Coordinate design and drafting activities with drafters to ensure that drawing sets meet company standards Utilise AutoCAD, 12D and other design software to create accurate plans and profiles Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop project solutions and ensure design accuracy Develop innovative solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projects Effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, including the ability to prepare reports and documentation Adhere to our IMS system and follow safe practices in the workplace Skills and Expertise Minimum 2 years Civil Design experience Civil Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent Strong communication and relationship building with clients and stakeholders Intermediate working knowledge with civil design software (AutoCAD, 12D, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of civil design Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to group projects Flexibility with working on various types of projects and tasks working to strict deadlines.
