Civil Design Engineer

MI Engineers is seeking a passionate and driven Civil Design Engineer with a strong background in using 12d Model and DRAINS design software. You will be based in our Central Wollongong office, supporting a diverse range of infrastructure design projects. We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, has excellent communication skills, and can deliver quality outcomes for our clients.Key Responsibilities:Collaborating on a variety of infrastructure projects using your expertise in 12d Model and DRAINS.Managing project expectations, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.Developing precise models of project designs in 12d Model.Integrating design data from drawings and other electronic sources.Proactively identifying design issues and proposing practical solutions.About You:Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent experience in civil engineering design within a consultancy.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, 12d, and DRAINS, with the ability to "hit the ground running."Skills: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
