We specialise in mining, earthmoving, civil infrastructure and training services, currently delivering on major projects throughout Metropolitan and Regional Australia.
Due to increased business growth, we are searching for a Trainer/Assessor – Civil Construction.
As a Trainer/Assessor – Civil Construction you will be responsible for responding to the existing training needs of Indigenous and Non-Indigenous clients throughout Sydney.
This role will train and assess in both theory and practical components (live work projects).
The RoleThis role will suit an experienced trades person with some previous training experience or secondary school teacher with experience and qualifications in civil construction.
This position is based in Sydney, NSW on a full-time basis.
The RequirementsThe ideal candidate for this position could be someone who's ready to come off the tools and into the classroom, and will have some experience in the following:
Working with trainees and apprentices in the workplace or a Registered Training Organisation in the delivery of civil construction.Experience delivering relevant and engaging training in a variety of workplaces or in classrooms to a diverse range of students/trainees/apprentices.Ability to work autonomously, be self-driven and results-oriented.Integrity and commitment to excellence in training delivery and the transfer of your knowledge.Excellent communication skills – phone, written and verbal – and a sense of humour.Great interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team and with our clients.National Police Clearance – current or willing to obtain.Working with Children Check – current or willing to obtain.Current driver's license.The successful candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116) preferred or working towards or a qualified secondary teacher working towards a TAE skill set.Certificate III in Civil Construction (or relevant experience).Applicants may be required to take part in pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol and physical agility.
