What's on offer? Fulton Hogan is pleased to announce we have been awarded the design and construction project for the Mount Ousley Interchange. Working closely with Transport for NSW, this project includes replacing the existing intersection of the Princes Motorway and Mount Ousley Road which in turn will improve road safety, travel times and accommodate the efficient movement of future traffic and freight growth. This $390 million project will provide essential infrastructure to the Mount Ousley community.
We have opportunities for Civil Construction Trainees to join our Mount Ousley Project Team onsite. The roles are a combination of cultural heritage with the added benefit of becoming a Construction Trainee and gaining a Civil Construction qualification.
How you'll connect to the role Persons local to the Illawarra with a good knowledge of the local area and the cultural heritage;Willing to engage and report on key Aboriginal stakeholder activity and recommend opportunities to incorporate cultural knowledge and perspectives into land and water;Provide appropriate advice that requires cultural knowledge and experience in dealing with the sensitivities of Aboriginal cultural heritage matters;Coordinate and liaise with key Aboriginal stakeholders and community to enhance 'Designing with Country' outcomes on the project;Positive attitude and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment;Ability and willingness to undertake Certificate III in Civil Construction training to gain associated trade skills to perform the role;Basic knowledge of the construction process is useful, but training will be provided;Ability to follow direction but also take initiative to monitor and delegate own work;Willingness to adapt to changing work demands and environment;Strong interpersonal communication skills;Unwavering commitment to health and safety of self and others.Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL.
