MS Civil was established in 2015 and specialises in civil construction and plumbing works in Southern Tasmania.
We have seen steady growth over this period and are a preferred supplier for major clients including Tas Water and many local councils in the region.
Due to continued growth, MS Civil is currently seeking to employ a Trainee for Civil construction works to join our team.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Trainee will be required to gain experience in the civil construction and plumbing activities of MS Civil.
Training includes, but is not limited to: Operations of plant including Excavators, Skid-steer Loaders and Twin-Drum Rollers Laying sewer, storm water and water pipes Installing new water and sewer mains and connections Construction of manholes Road reconstruction Maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure Dig trenches, install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems Road and footpath asphalting Assist tradesmen in civil construction projects Unloading and carrying materials at construction sites Smooth and level new concrete or other materials Clean out site from debris and discarded material Ability to read and understand construction drawings and relevant standards.
Adhere to Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.
