MS Civil was established in 2015 and specialises in civil construction and plumbing works in Southern Tasmania. We have seen steady growth over this period and are a preferred supplier for major clients including TasWater and many local councils in the region. Due to continued growth, MS Civil is currently seeking to employ a Trainee for Civil construction works to join our team.Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Trainee will be required to gain experience in the civil construction and plumbing activities of MS Civil.Training includes, but is not limited to:Operations of plant including Excavators, Skid-steer Loaders and Twin-Drum RollersLaying sewer, storm water and water pipesInstalling new water and sewer mains and connectionsConstruction of manholesRoad reconstructionMaintenance of water and sewer infrastructureDig trenches, install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systemsRoad and footpath asphaltingAssist tradesmen in civil construction projectsUnloading and carrying materials at construction sitesSmooth and level new concrete or other materialsClean out site from debris and discarded materialAbility to read and understand construction drawings and relevant standards.Adhere to Quality, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.The successful applicant must have the following:#J-18808-Ljbffr
