Exciting Opportunities for Civil Carpenters in Northern Tasmania Randstad Tasmania is seeking experienced and qualified carpenters with civil experience to join a respected client on multiple construction projects across Northern Tasmania.
This is a permanent contract role that offers excellent long-term career prospects.
The Role: This position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
We're looking for someone who thrives on variety and is eager to grow and learn.
If you're self-motivated, able to multitask, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities: Apply precision trade and non-trade skills across a variety of civil projects.
Exercise decision-making and discretion within the scope of the role.
Ensure a high standard of workmanship that meets both business and customer expectations.
Complete all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, following site-specific safe work procedures.
Key Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications and experience: Relevant trade certificate (Carpentry - Formwork).
2+ years of post-qualification experience in the civil construction industry.
Proven experience in civil construction.
White Card (Construction Induction).
Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
Physically fit and capable of manual labouring tasks.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
Full working rights in Australia.
Desirable Skills: Dogging or Rigging certification.
Working at Heights ticket.
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification.
Forklift licence.
Concrete finishing experience.
Experience working with chemicals such as form oils, curing agents, epoxies, sealants, mortar, and grout.
MR Licence.
