Education and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following:
Technical or Associate degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience using 12D softwareMinimum 2 years' experience gained within a consultancy environmentDemonstrated experience in civil design/drafting of relevant projects including (desirable):Roadworks & Drainage DesignFunctional layoutsBulk Earthwork DesignSewer/water designSwept path analysisDDA complianceCompetent in the use and knowledge of: 12D, AutoCAD, Drains, Vehicle Tracking, Microsoft Office, Australian Standards, Local Government Design Manuals, Local State streets or training to achieve competence.Skills and Personal Attributes: Understanding of relevant Australian standards, State and local Government policies and guidelines.Knowledge and application of Civil engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques.Strong time management skills in prioritising work in over multiple projects and project phasesProblem-solving skills.Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate and work with other engineers, designers and drafts people.Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player.Rewards: Great range of benefits, including competitive salaryFriendly and experienced team environmentProfessional development and good advancement prospectsRegular social eventsTo be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
