About the Role We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Project Engineers on a full-time permanent basis based in the Perth metropolitan region on our Project Sites. Our team of Engineers are responsible for overseeing the delivery of various utility pipeline and civil infrastructure projects under the direction of Senior Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
This position requires the day-to-day management of the technical aspects of project delivery, which may involve specific components of a project, one single project, or multiple projects.
Your duties will include:
Monitor the impact of scope changes within established time, cost and quality constraints Manage training and induction of all staff and contractors into Civcon's HSEQ management system Monitor compliance with deadlines for project phases, approval points and review points Estimate project costs to enable budgets to be developed and implement agreed cost management processes Prepare scope of works for subcontractor agreements Conduct project close-out activities to ensure contract deliverables meet contractual requirements Monitor the generation, gathering, storage, retrieval, analysis and dissemination of information You will be required to have a high level of autonomy while also working collaboratively as a team. You'll display significant judgement in planning and determining selections of equipment, roles, and techniques for yourself and your peers.
About You The successful applicant will display:
Proven delivery of works in accordance with contract requirements Ability to act independently to prioritise and self-manage works Experience in daily cost tracking, budget compilation and reporting Ability to understand contract requirements, construction drawings and specifications Strong technical understanding of design specifications, construction techniques, programming and planning High level of awareness and delivery to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management Implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures and legislative requirements Problem solving and resourcefulness Proficiency in various computing software (Microsoft Excel and Project with CHEOPs experience being desirable) Required Experience and Qualifications 3 to 5 years' minimum experience as a Project Engineer in a similar role Tertiary qualification in Civil Construction or Mechanical Engineering Current rights to live and work in Australia Full WA driver's licence and own vehicle.
