Executive Assistant - General Manager Community Strengthening Full Time - Temporary – until March 2026 (Parental Leave Cover) Band 6 - $94,850.87-$103,260.68+ super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only) Rewarding and challenging pivotal role working directly with General Manager Community Strengthening Supportive and Friendly team environment where we value growth and development Work in a dynamic and collaborative environment The City of Yarra is seeking to appoint a highly experienced, dynamic Executive Assistant to support the General Manager Community Strengthening to meet the evolving strategic and operational priorities of Council. The role includes:
Providing leadership, direction and delivery of strategic and efficient administrative support to the General Manager Community Strengthening and the divisional Managers. Ensuring that all services provided by the General Manager's Office are consistent and of a high standard. Acting as the primary interface on behalf of the General Manager Community Strengthening, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for the right person to be part of a visionary team committed to demonstrating inspirational leadership and championing the vision of a sustainable, vibrant and community-oriented municipality.
Applicants should have experience in providing professional advisory, research, and executive administrative support to an executive-level position. The ability to manage a dynamic workload with competing priorities and handle complex and sensitive situations whilst providing excellent customer service is essential.
