As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you'll report directly to the CEO and oversee critical functions, including Planning, Building Services, Environmental Health, Rangers and Emergency Management, Waste Management and Sustainability.
Your leadership will:
Define and implement strategic goals to drive urban growth and environmental sustainability. Lead the development of climate resilience initiatives and integrate sustainable practices across the City's operations. Champion biodiversity, renewable energy, and waste reduction to enhance community wellbeing. Foster strong partnerships with residents, government agencies, industry, and non-government organizations. Ensure regulatory excellence and alignment with the City's long-term Strategic Community Plan. What You Bring
We're looking for a proven leader with:
A tertiary qualification in urban planning, environmental science, sustainability, or a related field. Substantial experience managing multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments. A track record of success in strategic planning, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. A passion for building inclusive, environmentally sustainable, and community-focused cities. What's On Offer A contract of up to 5 years with a competitive remuneration package, circa $200,000, plus 12.5% superannuation, motor vehicle allowance, and other benefits.
