Start your journey with our exclusive 12-month immersive trainee and apprentice program followed by a further 12-month traineeship designed to unlock your potential (total 24 months). This will be your foundation as we continue to support you in achieving your qualification and empower you to shape your future. This training is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.

In the role of Cyber Security Trainee, you will form part of a team dedicated to safeguarding our digital infrastructure and information. This is a unique role that will provide hands-on experience in cyber security, including cyber engineering, threat detection, incident response, cyber safety education and vulnerability assessment. You will contribute to a more secure digital environment by identifying, mitigating, and responding to cyber threats.
Contributing to database maintenance and automation of services. Monitoring and analysing network traffic and system logs to identify and respond to potential security threats. Identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in systems and networks. Supporting the implementation of security controls to protect systems and data from cyber threats. Investigating and responding to security incidents to minimise damage and disruption. Staying informed about the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities and best practices. Helping to create and deliver training programs that will educate our people on safer cyber practices and behaviours. What we are looking for from you

Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the qualification and be able to work full-time.
