About the Role:
They are looking for an experienced and dynamic
Citrus Manager
to lead their citrus processing operations. This
senior role
requires a skilled professional with deep expertise in
citrus production and post-harvest management , who can strategically drive quality, productivity, and profitability. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Citrus Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of citrus processing, from daily production activities to long-term forecasting and planning, ensuring that outputs meet their rigorous standards for quality, cost, and timing.
The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of five years in a citrus packhouse management role
and a strong background in food quality and safety protocols, such as HACCP and GMP. This role requires a highly organised leader with the ability to
manage budgets , develop financial forecasts, and optimise operational expenditure. Additionally, the Citrus Manager will be instrumental in driving innovation to increase revenue and reduce costs. Strong project management skills will assist your success as the role involves overseeing capital projects in collaboration with the Group Manager of Projects and Infrastructure to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
A proven people leader, the successful candidate will focus on building and nurturing a high-performance culture within the Citrus Processing Team. This includes mentoring and training staff to ensure technical knowledge and continuity of critical responsibilities, as well as fostering collaboration across departments to align with broader sales strategies and business objectives.
