Logicalis is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Citrix. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about technology and looking for flexibility to manage their schedule around personal commitments. As a casual contractor, you'll have the unique opportunity to engage in diverse projects within our Professional Services team, offering you exposure to a wide range of technologies and experiences.
As a Senior Systems Engineer (Citrix), you will garner the information you need to efficiently and thoroughly understand our customers' workspace environments, with a view to designing and deploying virtual desktop solutions tailored to address their specific needs. You will be responsible for approaching client consultations with commercial empathy, recognising how to deliver on the best return for their investment. This can range from troubleshooting an escalated issue or utilising Intune with MS Config Manager to bolster their Hybrid environment; right through to full scale design and delivery of complete workspace cloud migration projects.
Your responsibilities will consist of the following:
Design and delivery of relevant solutions for Logicalis customers through consultation, collaboration, and co-operation with key stakeholders to develop the solution, ensuring the best outcome for Logicalis customers. This includes:Technical, architecture and solution design abilities.Validation of the solution with the Solution Architect, technical lead and customer.Facilitation of design workshops.Creation and modification of 'Detailed Design' document with a keen eye to detail.Technical presentation of the solution to the customer.Building the solution in accordance with Statement of Work (SoW), design and project schedule.Preparation of user guides, and co-ordination of user acceptance testing.Creation of 'As built' documentation.Facilitation and handover of 'As built' documentation to the customer.Our Endpoint Solutions (Digital Workplace) team is passionate about enabling secure access to applications, services and corporate resources across our customers' myriad of endpoint devices. Citrix Desktop as a Service (DaaS)Citrix gold image managementCitrix FASADC/NetScalerXenApp and Xen DesktopProvisioning servicesVirtual Apps and DesktopsVMwareProfile managementMicrosoft GPO/ADAdvanced analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments.Exposure to ITIL processes, attention to detail and have a passion and desire to develop and share knowledge.
