Cis Technician

The successful candidate will have the ability to influence, create, modify and develop simulation software which will be used to deliver cutting edge training outcomes to the ADF.

Responsibilities

Provide support to simulation deliveryIntegration of simulation and C2 applicationsWork collaboratively with the team to develop, test and integrate new software releasesAssist in the configuration, management and sustainment of simulation systemsModify existing (COTS and GOTS) software packagesDeploy to support the execution of simulation supported training events as part of the Technical Control (TECHON) or Simulation Control (SIMCON) elementsSkills & experience required

Ideally have experience working in JOC or similar postingA collaborative communication styleExperienced in Information SystemsHardware and Software remediationRedHat Linux experienceSome HTML/CSS/JavaScript experienceApplicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and a current or reinstatable NV1 clearance.Candidates with experience as Electronic Warfare or Combat System Operators are encouraged to apply. This role would suit members from any service (Army, Navy or RAAF). Candidates would Ideally have experience with common simulation standards (DIS, HLA, TENA)
