Hourly rate is based on experience. Highlighting the importance of this role We currently have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our team at Golden Age Aged Care Service on a Permanent part-time basis.
Working closely with the Service Manager and our Allied Health professionals, You will enjoy engaging with our much-loved residents as you evaluate their care needs. Your focus will be recognising resident needs and assisting them with services that enrich their daily living. You will also provide comprehensive guidance to nursing and care staff to ensure that residents' individual care plan requirements are met. The care you provide will have a lasting positive impact on our residents and their families. Within your varied day, you will: Conduct baseline and required focus assessments of individual clients' needs and record findings. Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings, ensuring that care strategies are based on evidence. Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with clients and other members of the care team. Maintain client documentation in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements. Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers in the provision of services. What you can bring to the team You are a dedicated clinician who can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices. You have excellent leadership skills and the ability to guide and direct our personal care workers onsite.
Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:
A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Some residential aged care experience. The ability to problem solve using best practice methods and have demonstrated clinical knowledge. High level of professional written and verbal communication. Current first aid and CPR certification. Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards. Current National Police Check or ability to obtain.
