The Salary for this position is currently $30.38 per hour.
Hourly rate is based on experience.

About the role
A Team Leader opportunity exists for an experienced Hospitality Team Leader to work within our Little Mountain Aged Care Service.
We require a full-time Team Leader to work from Monday to Friday, with a flexible start time between 6am and 9am.
You will be a master at multi-tasking, embracing your hospitality experience in a compassionate nature.
Actively contribute to establishing high standards of customer service to our residents and participate in continuous improvement.
The Hospitality Team Leader is responsible for:
Coordinating and participating in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring our menu meets the dietary requirements of residents; Ensuring all kitchen, laundry and cleaning equipment is kept clean and maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations; ensure all services procedures comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards; calibrate, monitor and record temperature of cold room/freezer; Perform stock control, including rotation, ordering and quality checking; approve invoices in accordance with delegation authority and budget; Ensure Accreditation Standards are met in all hospitality areas; report on non-compliance and incidents; assist in implementing action plans to rectify non-compliance; Supervise, train and mentor a committed team of hospitality, cleaning and laundry staff, ensuring daily tasks are maintained according to operational guidelines.
About you
You have a comprehensive understanding of legislation relevant to the industry plus knowledge and application of safe food hygiene practices.
Your highly developed prioritisation, time management, leadership & problem-solving techniques are some of your strengths and you enjoy the interaction and working with our senior residents and have empathy for their needs.

To be successful in this role, your experience and qualifications should include:
Chef trade qualification or equivalent experience.
Applied knowledge of catering, cleaning and laundry procedures including cooking texture modified meals and thickened fluids; Solid experience as a commercial cook, working in a hygiene-controlled environment; Experience in the Aged Care industry is preferable but not essential; Practical knowledge of legislation relevant to hospitality services including demonstrated experience of operational achievement of accreditation standards including Food Safety Certificate; A friendly and outgoing personality with strong focus on customer service and satisfaction; Have or can obtain a current National Police Clearance Certificate.
