Day to day you will be managing a portfolio of large loss work, using your technical skills and expertise to collaborate with specialists and drive a timely outcome and settlement. The Senior Loss Adjuster will also help to develop the expertise and knowledge of the broader team.
Prior experience in handling large personal lines and commercial lines losses with exposure up to $500K In-depth knowledge of property and construction, conducting thorough and detailed site inspections Experience in scoping and estimating large loss exposures Ability to prepare accurate, clear, thorough and concise reports in a timely manner to progress claim Ability to coordinate with lead adjusters/managers on pending claim files requiring additional investigation Prior experience in negotiating settlements with insured in accordance with recommended best practices guidelines and limits of authority Provide coaching and mentoring to develop the skill set of the broader team We'd love to meet you.....
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge Minimum of 5 years of property claims handling experience (including strata) / 5 years Loss Adjusting Experience with commercial and catastrophe claims Research and investigative abilities; negotiating, conflict resolution and persuasive abilities Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large-group presentation skills A full driver's licence and ability to be mobile with travel. ACILA Diploma in Loss Adjusting or qualifications attained through ANZIIF Thorough knowledge of commercial and residential construction industries Knowledge of property claims law and jurisdictional issues Our commitment to you
