Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Chronic Pain Management Team Leader to join our growing team on an ongoing , part time basis.
The Pain Management Clinic is a Sub-Acute Ambulatory Care Services (SACS) Specialty Clinic that provides comprehensive assessment and time limited, goal orientated treatment for clients with chronic pain or sub-acute pain leading to chronic pain. Clients are provided with self-management strategies to enable ongoing management post discharge from the service. The Chronic Pain Management Team Leader will coordinate the SACS Pain Management Clinic, as per the Specialist Clinic model of care. They will liaise with interdisciplinary health professionals and key stakeholders.
The successful candidate can be either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Allied Health Professional.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Relevant professional qualification as either a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or a Allied Health Professional (Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist). Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). Evidence of recent relevant professional development. Demonstrated current knowledge in pain management best practice is desirable. Latrobe Regional Health offers a range of benefits including: Salary packaging up to $9,000 per annum.
