Mala'la Health Service is seeking an experienced Remote Area Nurse (RAN) to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in Maningrida, NT.
To be a successful Chronic Conditions Nurse, you will be able to promote and provide a comprehensive, culturally appropriate, patient-centred Chronic Conditions Program, and also work collaboratively with other stakeholders in Maningrida.

These services include Primary Health Care, Aged & Community Care, Family & Community Wellness, Drugs & Alcohol Services. Mala'la Health Service provides Primary Health Care services to Maningrida and surrounding homelands under a Community Control model.
The role will see you working in a remote Aboriginal Community. All applicants must have an understanding of, and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Aboriginal people living in remote settings.
Minimum RequirementsTo apply, please ensure that you have the following:
Current AHPRA Registration and Practicing Certificate as a Registered NurseCurrent Remote Emergency Care Course certificate and/or Advance Life Support certificateCurrent accredited Immunisation certificate (recognised in the NT)Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent)Manual Driver's LicenseMin 5 years broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context, with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently and participate in emergency calls and First Response)Mala'la Health Service is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and clients of our Health Care Centre.
